Intelligence Services

NWS intelligence services include innovative, expert support to all phases of the systems development lifecycle, from concept refinement and technology development, through system acquisition, test, deployment, and operation. NWS professionals work side-by-side with our customers to understand their environment, processes, capabilities, prioritized needs, and challenges. NWS's experienced staff includes highly regarded, seasoned government and industry veterans from the National Reconnaissance Office (NRO), National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA), scientific and technical intelligence (S&TI) centers, and other government agencies.

NWS supports multiple programs involving specialized technology development, operational demonstrations, and systems engineering for efforts responding to counter insurgency (COIN), counter terrorism (CT), counter proliferation (CP), and counter narcotics (CN), threats across a wide range of intelligence disciplines.

NWS intelligence analysis efforts include advanced geospatial intelligence (AGI) and image science support, much of it dealing with special operations and high current interest events. Our NWS team processes and exploits a full range of AGI data to include spectral (both multi and hyperspectral), thermal, and synthetic aperture radar (SAR). NWS analysts develop mission critical intelligence assessments, intelligence reports, and annotated graphical products based upon their analyses. Image scientists also provide subject matter expertise to government customers. NWS AGI collection managers provide critical reachback support for special operations and military units, many deployed in harm's way.

NWS pioneered collaborative outreach and customer support capabilities to meet the time-critical needs for intelligence support to global set of military and IC customers. NWS successfully developed, implemented and executed 24x7, multi-INT collaborative operations to reduce reporting timelines for High Current Interest (HCI) events from 3-7 hours to 15-20 minutes and earned accolades from organizations such as the White House Situation Room and soldiers deployed around the world.

NWS is a preeminent provider of security services to Government agencies. NWS security-related services include planning, documentation, monitoring and implementation of security processes and networks in accordance with the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM), Director of Central Intelligence Directives (DCID), Director of National Intelligence (DNI) Intelligence Community Directives (ICDs) and DoD security directives and manuals. Our extensive experience with current users, providers and participants of security activities places NWS in a position to provide proven, track-record-based, security services.

NWS has extensive experience supporting the design, integration, testing and deployment of DCID 6/3-compliant Protection Level 4 (PL-4) and Protection Level 5 (PL-5) controlled interfaces (CI) that effectively connect information systems operating at different security levels. NWS has provided this support throughout the life-cycle from concept development through operations and maintenance. In these efforts, NWS has gained considerable experience dealing with multiple Certification and Accreditation (C&A) processes including the Defense Information Assurance Certification and Accreditation Program (DIACAP) used by the DoD as well as the C&A processes used by several of the intelligence agencies. NWS supported a wide variety of hardware and software implementations featuring an extensive range of processors, firewalls, intrusion detection systems, anti-virus software, security utilities and associated operating systems.
