NWS’ health benefits, including medical, prescription drug, dental, vision, life insurance and disability protection, are among the best offered today.
NWS pays for employee health, life and disability benefits in full, and shares in paying for spousal and/or family health benefits costs. We also provide a cash in lieu of benefits payment for team members who elect to “opt out” of health benefits if they have access to alternative sources of coverage.

NWS’ medical plan features a low-deductible, low co-pay with two Point of Service (POS) medical plan options through United HealthCare.
ASI TRICARE Supplement is available for employees who are retired military or to the spouse of a retired military member and to Reservists and National Guards members with 20 years of creditable service and who have reached the age of 60.

NWS’ United Healthcare prescription drug coverage provides you and your family with both brand-name and generic medications either by at-home delivery or through your local pharmacy. Our prescription drug benefits are generous with minimal employee co-pays.
NWS’ Delta Dental benefits provide support for preventative, restorative and orthodontic coverage, and are an important part of your comprehensive benefits package.
NWS team members and their families receive Vision Service Plan (VSP) benefits that provide significantly reduced preferred pricing on eye examinations, glasses, contact lenses and laser eye surgery through an extensive network of participating optometrists and laser surgeons.
Life and Accidental Death & Dismemberment (AD&D) Insurance
NWS provides you with important safety net benefits, such as Basic life insurance and Basic AD&D insurance. Additional Voluntary Life insurance for you and your family is available at your cost.
Sick Leave and Disability Insurance
NWS employees are immediately eligible for sick leave, short-term disability and long-term disability coverage. Regular employees accrue a set number of sick days each year and participate in a generous company-paid disability plan, which provides for income replacement of up to 60 percent of salary or $1,500 per week of short-term disability for up to 13 weeks, and up to 60 percent of salary or $7,000 for each month of long-term disability.
Flexible Spending Account (FSA)
An FSA is a pretax benefit available to eligible employees to set aside a specific pretax dollar amount, up to $2,400 per year for unreimbursed medical, dental, vision and over-the-counter items, and up to $5,000 per year for dependent care expenses. In addition to the tax savings, regular payroll deductions help you budget your expenses.

401(k) Savings Plan
You may participate in the NWS 401(k) Savings Plan immediately upon hire. All team members receive a generous company match of their pre-tax earnings into their 401(k) Savings Plan account.
The plan offers a diversified mix of investment choices and a web portal which enables participants to access and manage their own account information online, 24/7. NWS’ 401(k) contributions are vested over a three-year 20-50-100 percent vesting schedule. Your contributions are always 100-percent vested.
Profit Sharing Plan
NWS believes in sharing the success of the company with all of our team members. To make this happen, our team members receive an annual profit sharing contribution to their 401(k) Savings Plan. NWS’ profit sharing contributions are vested over a three-year 20-50-100 percent vesting schedule.
